Welcome to the website of the Wolverhampton Civic and Historical Society. We are a new society being formed by the merger of the Wolverhampton History and Heritage Society and the Wolverhampton Civic Society. We will officially come into existence following the first AGM on 8 December 2010.
The work being done by both of the current societies will continue within the new organisation such as the promotion of local history research and the erection of blue plaques. We will continue to be dedicated to promoting the history and heritage of Wolverhampton and ensuring that any new buildings and developments do not adversely affect the character and image of our great city!
